This lovely parcel in Meloisey on the Hautes Côtes de Beaune sits at an altitude of 360 meters. It is a cool location with 11,000 low-trained Chardonnay vines per hectare. They grow on shallow, very stony, sloping clay-limestone soil. The vines take root in the very hard limestone of the rock, resulting in a wine with a remarkable minerality and fine tension. This is a lively and very fruity white wine that is full of energy with floral notes. It is delicious savored straight away for instant gratification.
