As early as the Middle Ages, Pommard established itself as the finest wine of the Beaune region. Neighbouring the famous “Noizons” climat, the “Brescul” plot stretches across a southeast-facing slope. This walled vineyard takes its name from the Old French, meaning a plot planted on a particularly steep slope. The cool air and a very steep, limestone soil of this terroir provide the perfect conditions for growing Pinot Noir. The nose reveals a lovely variety of red berries with delicate hints of spice. On the palate, the wine is rich and silky, supported by fine tannins. The balance between finesse and structure results in a Pinot Noir of absolute charm, offering great depth and guaranteed enjoyment. Best kept in the cellar for a few years.
