This parcel, located above the famous premier cru plot of Les Gouttes d’Or in Meursault, sits at an altitude of 320 meters and faces southeast. These 40-year-old vines draw their resources from the very stony white clay soil with its subsoil of extremely hard limestone, resulting in a great white Burgundy wine.
The Les Tillets cuvée offers rare finesse, power, and elegance. It has aromas of white blossom and notes of saline. In the mouth, it is ample, persistent, and perfectly balanced.
This Meursault is the very quintessence of Chardonnay and is at its peak after between 5 and 15 years in the cellar.
